Hi Rob this definitely explains the image, nevertheless it does not make engaging photo......think about light, the structure itself, new connections, new associations, think about perspective and above all make sure that you use the rule of thirds to some extent (but not always necessary)......also i would recommend B/W for your work -
especially in the beginning....it helps to see shapes, structure, texture.......

I agree, Jerry... let me tell you what I was trying to get (and apparently didn't): the building used to be a simple, symmetrical cube. After it was redesigned, the symmetry was thrown off by the metal exoskeleton that was added to the exterior. What i was trying to do was point that out by taking a shot that would otherwise have been symmetrical.... it's only a couple of km from my home, so i'll go back and try some different looks at it.
sorry Rob - this needs some work.....top is too tight and in the center, it is hard to get the whole building and get interesting photo - start with details - like in architecture itself - g.. is in the details.....
