Willi, the piece is an abstraction on the story of the 14 stations of the cross, from the bible, so I assume the white body is the artist's version of the crucifixion.
To take a picture from some exibition is very difficult. In my opinion you catch good atmosphere of this place. I like it. Sorry my masa Bob English ;-)
I agree, it would be better without people. I stood in that spot for a long time hoping to get a shot of just the space, but no luck... FWIW, the people do give it a sense of scale.
