The photo was taken in a neighbourhood of Paris very modern and animated but on the picture, it's like the charming old Paris where the silence and cats tranquility is preserved.

I think I understand your motivation to take this picture, however, along with dullness and lack of contrast, there are clashing elements within the composition, i.e., halved lantern at the top (I'd have cut it right below the lantern), windows on both sides, the hole in the stone is touching the picture's frame, and lastltly, the vertical lines ought to be straightened up. The picture in whole looks quite messy... Good luck the next time! :o))
