Since interesting issues on the picture consist more-or-less of dark colors, the sky seems to be too bright, thus overwhelming spectator's visual impression. I'd have used ND Gradual filter or have waited a little bit longer until the sky gets darker or more interesting. Branches touching the horizon (or conflicting with) is not considered as a good idea, usually it's a mistake - here I'd lower until they remain available for the sky only :-))).
